    Sekaten or night market is an annual event held by the Government of the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) to celebrate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad SAW. This event is held in the main square keraton Yogyakarta. Located close to 0 kilometer Malioboro. the atmosphere in Sekaten is very crowded with visitors who dominated by children, teenagers, students and adults. This event will officially open for 40 days. In Sekaten you'll find so many culinary traders and you'll get daily necessities with very cheap price or discount on this event. No admission charge to visit here, just enough to pay the parking fees for IDR 3000.
